Backstage Stars is committed to delivering the highest quality Performing Arts training at our holiday camps in Leamington Spa & Rugby! To do this, we only work with teachers who are highly qualified in their fields and those who LOVE to pass on their passion to the next generation.

When attending at Backstage Stars holiday camp, you can be sure to be greeted with a smile from a member of our team! Their friendly faces will get your day with us started in the perfect way and they love to meet all of the new faces coming through our doors.


Backstage Stars only works with the best teachers who love their jobs and are passionate about performing.


All of the members of our team are highly qualified in their professional fields with recognised boards including the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association), BTDA (British Theatre Dance Association), BCA (British Cheerleading Association) and AcroTrix. Alongside this, they all hold enhanced DBS checks, first aid certifications and safeguarding training - your children are truly in safe hands!

TEACHING AT: Rugby Summer Camp (Oliver! JR), Leamington Spa Summer Camp (Frozen JR)

Katie began dancing at the tender age of 3 joining Ballet and Tap classes. She soon joined Freestyle and Street classes and expanded her repertoire. After completing her IDTA Grade 5 in Ballet with Distinction, Katie turned her head to Freestyle Dance completing 17 examinations with the IDTA! In 2014, Katie was awarded 96% by Dawn Parker - the ex-Head of the IDTA - and was nominated for a Freestyle Dance Scholarship.

During her amateur career, Katie was given many opportunities to perform at some of the country's most prestigious theatres including The Royal Albert Hall, Sadler's Wells Theatre and The Birmingham Hippodrome.

Katie gained her IDTA Freestyle Associate with Distinction in 2019 and has since added 4 further teaching qualifications to her repertoire. Katie is passionate about all aspects of the performing arts and loves passing her knowledge onto the next generation!

Hannah began dancing as a young child partaking in Tap and Ballet classes. She then decided to try Irish Dance which she competed in Feis' aged 6. It was then she discovered her love for Ballet and decided and joined a local dance school, completing many exams and charity showcases which included Tap, Modern Jazz and Contemporary dance styles.

Hannah gained her IDTA Freestyle Associate with Distinction in 2021 and, since then, has continued her training into further subjects. Hannah is also a Level 1 Cheerleading coach with the British Cheerleading Association.

Courtney's passion for dance started at the age of 2 when she joined Ballet and Musical Theatre classes. Since then, she has had many opportunities to perform on a variety of professional stages and with well known artists including Gary Barlow!

During her amateur career, Courtney was given the opportunity to perform in a variety of shows and musicals including Evita. Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat and A Christmas Carol as well as working with the RSC.

During late 2020, Courtney passed her IDTA Freestyle Associate with 95% Distinction! Since then, Courtney has gone on to qualify in Singing, Acrobatics and Cheerleading too.

Kian started dancing at the age of 9 after watching the MTV music channel and deciding he wanted to dance like they did! Kian began to teach himself Street Dance, Breakdance and Body Popping. 

From there, Kian began to take an interest in all styles and studied Tap, Ballet, Modern and Acrobatics, reaching the student teacher level examinations.

Kian's dance career took off when he was 14 and he began to compete internationally in the England Team. Currently Kian is British Champion in Breakdance, Street Dance and Body Popping, also ranked 5th in Europe and 11th in the World.

Kian has done many performances for Pride organisations and charitable events. In 2021, Kian took his IDTA Freestyle Associate and became a fully qualified teacher!
