Our Story
Backstage Stars was founded by Director Katie Harcourt in 2021 with the aim to give students the opportunity to 'take to the stage' in the school holidays!

Since opening, Backstage Stars has operated over 15 holiday camps in Leamington Spa & Rugby welcoming around 200 students through the doors. Each of our workshops has encompassed our motto of 'PERFORM - INSPIRE - ACHIEVE' offering 5 star performing arts education to students of all backgrounds.

For us, the Performing Arts is about much more than dance and drama. It's about inspiring and expanding young minds to achieve their dreams both in the arts and in life. Our workshops encourage students to develop a wide range of transferable skills including confidence, teamwork, leadership, communication & public speaking. Our team of expert teachers love to pass on their knowledge of the arts as well as watching our performers become confident young people!

At Backstage Stars, we are passionate about our young people and helping their to achieve their potential in a fun and safe environment.

Unlike some other performing arts holiday camps, Backstage Stars is an OFSTED registered organisation. OFSTED ensures that our child receives the best possible care and we have extremely high standards to maintain.

By being OFSTED registered, we can also accept your childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare payments.

Backstage Stars is committed to delivering the highest quality Performing Arts training at our holiday camps in Leamington Spa & Rugby! To do this, we only work with teachers who are highly qualified in their fields and those who LOVE to pass on their passion to the next generation.

Backstage Stars only works with the best teachers who love their jobs and are passionate about performing.
All of the members of our team are highly qualified in their professional fields with recognised boards including the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association), BTDA (British Theatre Dance Association), BCA (British Cheerleading Association) and AcroTrix. Alongside this, they all hold enhanced DBS checks, first aid certifications and safeguarding training - your children are truly in safe hands!
